CSR Compliance Checklist (India)
Ensure your CSR program is fully compliant with the Companies Act, 2013:
- Check if your company meets CSR criteria (Net worth ≥ ₹500 cr, Turnover ≥ ₹1000 cr, Net profit ≥ ₹5 cr)
- Constitute a CSR Committee as per Section 135
- Formulate and approve a CSR Policy aligned with Schedule VII activities
- Identify suitable CSR projects based on company values and community needs
- Partner with MCA-registered NGOs (DARPAN portal, 12A, 80G, FCRA) for project implementation
- Allocate minimum 2% of average net profits (last 3 years) for CSR expenditure
